Portability is honestly a good way to take movies on the go and being able to watch a movie wherever we are is incredible.

From movies only being restricted to theaters, DVD’s and others, we can view content that was meant for the big screen, on our devices at any time and anywhere.

Platforms like Netflix make it super easy to switch between devices, and I really like having that option as I can watch from whatever device I have. Having the option to use my laptop or phone because it lets me get comfortable that I can watch in bed, on the couch, at a cafe, or even while traveling.

It feels more personal and relaxed compared to sitting upright in front of a TV. Sometimes some of us aren’t able to see movies on the big screen. If I’m out somewhere or waiting for something, I can just pull out my phone and continue watching.

That level of accessibility makes movies feel less like a scheduled activity of going to a theater and more that fits into my day naturally. For Gen Z and millennials, convenience matters a lot because we’re constantly multitasking.

We’ll watch while texting friends, scrolling, or working on something else. Even though the screen is smaller, the comfort and freedom makes up for it and for me, portability is about having control over when and where I watch.
