Cinema Operations Lead (Special Events & Attendance)
The Opportunity
We are currently experiencing a historic moment in our theaters. Because Michael B. Jordan recently won an Oscar, fans are returning to the cinema in record numbers. Specifically, they want to see his powerful performance in Fruitvale Station on the big screen again. Consequently, we need a dedicated Operations Lead to manage this high-energy environment and ensure every guest has a seamless experience.
The Big Moment
This win is a huge part of movie history. For many years, African American actors did not get many Oscars. However, things are changing. Now, stars like Michael B. Jordan are leading the way. They are winning top awards for their hard work. Therefore, our screenings are a way to celebrate this progress. We want to honor the talent of Black actors in Hollywood.
Your Primary Responsibilities
- Crowd Flow Management: You will design and oversee entry and exit paths for sold-out screenings. First, you will coordinate with security to keep lobby traffic moving. Next, you will manage the digital ticketing queues to prevent long wait times.
- Team Leadership: You will supervise a team of twenty staff members. Furthermore, you will lead daily “huddles” to keep spirits high during busy shifts.
- Technical Excellence: You will work closely with our projectionists. Above all, your goal is to ensure that the visual and audio quality of every screening is perfect.
A Day in the Life
Imagine arriving at a theater buzzing with excitement. To begin with, you check the pre-sale numbers for the evening. , you organize a “victory lap” themed concession stand to celebrate the win. Throughout the night, you are the “director” on the floor, solving problems quickly and keeping the fans happy.rt of the buzz, managing a crowd that is just as hyped for the cinema as they are for the red carpet.
